Wow...just wow...

Travis Harper of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays entered the game in New York tonight with 1 out in the 8th inning, hoping to protect an 11-10 lead. He faced 11 batters, throwing 46 pitches. He retired two batter on fly balls. He allowed 4 HR, 1 double, 1 triple, 2 singles and an intentional walk. He allowed 2 inherited runners to score, and 9 runs of his own. In 2/3 of an inning. At one point, he gave up home runs to 3 consecutive batters.

No, he didn't manage to protect the lead...
