A walk-off homer...again

Well, they did it again. The 2-run walk-off homer was so exhilirating on Tuesday, they decided to leave town with another one. And it took some work to set up the situation, as the Red Sox had to strand 11 runners and Keith Foulke had to allow 4 runs in the top of the 9th to set up the dramatics.

Once again, it's Octavio Dotel on the mound trying to protect a 1-run lead. Once again, he walks David Ortiz. Once again, he gives up a 1-out, 2-run home run. Kevin Millar last night, Jason Varitek today.

That finishes a nice homestand, as the Sox took 5-6 from Seattle and Oakland, and head out to the west coast having won 3 straight, 8 of 9 and 10 of 12.
