Dispiriting

The media isn't going to correct any of Biden's misstatements, they aren't going to challenge any of the misinformation about deregulation, the source of the problems, the government pressure on "predatory lenders" to make those bad loans - none of it. If the Republicans (that's you, Governor Palin) aren't going to either, then there's no point in continuing.

I'm getting close to "the worse, the better..."

UPDATE: (post-debate) I stand by what I wrote. The theme for much of the evening seemed to be "Vote McCain-Palin - we'll villify the rich, too, just not as enthusiastically!" But the insta-reaction that I'm seeing seems to indicate that I'm in the minority on this reaction...
